Our Kyoto bike tours use Kyoto Localized’s own fleet of Japanese-made e-bikes, making it easier to connect temples, shrines, riverside paths, historic neighborhoods, and local areas that can take much longer to reach by public transportation.

Cycling through Kyoto is part of the experience itself. Ride along the Kamo River, through traditional neighborhoods, and along everyday streets while enjoying the changing scenery of the city. Along the way, discover places that are popular with Japanese travelers but still overlooked by many international visitors, as well as some of Kyoto’s best-known landmarks.

Choose from three distinct Kyoto e-bike tours: explore temples, rivers, and quieter neighborhoods beyond the busiest sightseeing areas; experience Gion and Higashiyama after dark; or ride through southern Kyoto to Fushimi Inari Shrine, Tofuku-ji Temple, and Sanjusangendo Temple.
